IAS isn't needed he has Focused Anger and For Great Justice on the bar, even though it isn't a good build. Paragons are mainly for supporting the party not for doing the damage.

No IAS is always needed on basically any weapon-based char.

And Paras are made for both damage and support.

unless 'weapon' characters explode when swinging a weapon without IAS on their skill bars, I think its safe to say you don't NEED to run anything... especially in PvE

you might not be optimally effective, sure, but you get my drift :P

Pfft then why say "Damage focused Paragon" if you're not going to be effective?

It wouldn't be too hard to throw in Aggressive Refrain for Signet of Synergy running Racway, if you're picky about optimal effectiveness.

Interesting idea, but get rid of those useless self-heals.

I'm surprised no one suggestion [Drunken Master]. It's the easiest IAS and doubles as an IMS for running.

What's wrong with [aggressive refrain]?

Maybe if the IAS+IMS were 25% at the highest without booze, I'd run it, but Aggressive Refrain is MUCH easier

I like the idea of [purifying finale] and [wearying spear]. [focused anger] is inferior to [soldiers fury]. Poeple have already suggested some decent builds.

Paras can be good damage dealers as well as party boosters. The only thing paras should have though is something to make spears fly faster kind of like the Ranger prep. But ias, I guess is a good alternative.

Does purifying finale get rid of weakness from wearing right as you use it o-O? I never really considered trying it lolz.

There are spear attacks that increase the flight speed of the spear.

[[Purifying Finale] removes weakness when a chant or shout ends. So if you have an anthem, shout, etc. that triggers on an attack skill(or next attack), you use [[Wearying Spear], the chant or shout ends, and [[Purifying Finale] should then trigger at that point.

Well I hate the whole motivation tree so :>

As for spear attacks moving twice as fast, ya there are some but I mean a skill that makes them all move fast. Disrupting throw is BS without moving faster.
